1. Processing and Fulfillment
- Handling Time: All orders are processed at our facility in Kerala, within 2 to 3 business days (Monday to Friday). This time is required to carefully pick, quality-check, and pack your spices before handing them over to our courier partner.
- Delay Notification: If fulfillment is delayed significantly due to high volume, stock issues, or local access constraints in the high-ranges, we will proactively notify you via email at with an updated timeline.
2. Shipping Rates and Transit Times
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the products and the final delivery address. We currently ship only within India.

- Disclaimer: These are estimates provided by our courier partners. MasalaKart.in is not responsible for external delays caused by courier backlogs, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or national/regional issues (e.g., natural calamities, border checks).
3. Tracking Your Order
- Confirmation: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation Email containing the courier’s name and your Tracking Number.
- Visibility: Tracking links usually become active within 24 hours of receiving the email. You can monitor the status of your shipment on the courier’s official website.
4. Handling Delivery Issues
We take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, but occasionally issues arise.
A. Damaged Products (Claims)
- If your order arrives damaged, please Do Not Refuse the Delivery. Accept the package, and immediately take clear photographs of:
- The outer box/packaging damage.
- The damaged product(s) inside.
- You must email us at help@masalakart.in with the photos and your Order ID within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will review the evidence and, at our discretion, arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund.
B. Lost Packages (Non-Delivery)
- If the tracking status remains “In Transit” for more than 10 business days past the estimated delivery window, please contact us.
- We will immediately initiate a formal investigation (Trace) with the courier partner. This process can take up to 7 business days.
- If the investigation confirms the package is lost, we will send you a free replacement or issue a full refund.
C. Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Shipments
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or if delivery is refused by the recipient, you will be contacted immediately.
- You will be responsible for the re-shipment fee. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
